1. Service Scope

KubePilot provides a graphical interface for managing Kubernetes clusters, Helm releases, and FluxCD resources. The app communicates directly with Kubernetes API servers, Helm chart repositories, and FluxCD sources that the user explicitly configures.

KubePilot is a software client only. It does not provide hosted Kubernetes infrastructure, managed cluster services, cloud storage, or any form of infrastructure management on the user's behalf.

All cluster operations performed through KubePilot — including creating, modifying, or deleting resources — are executed against the user's own Kubernetes clusters using the credentials the user has provided.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, workloads, secrets, and infrastructure you manage through KubePilot.

Kubernetes cluster operations — including scaling, deleting, or modifying workloads, secrets, RBAC policies, and network configuration — can have significant and potentially irreversible effects on running systems. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding the consequences of any action before performing it.

KubePilot does not validate that any given cluster operation is appropriate, safe, or consistent with your infrastructure policies. Exercise appropriate caution, especially in production environments.

3. Cluster Credentials and Access

Cluster connection credentials, certificates, and authentication tokens are stored locally on your device in platform-provided secure storage. You are responsible for managing the lifecycle of those credentials, including revocation when a device is lost or access should be removed.

KubePilot does not transmit your cluster credentials to our servers. However, you should treat kubeconfig data and service account tokens with the same care as any sensitive access credential.

4. Trademark Notice

5. Open Source Acknowledgements

KubePilot is built with Flutter and integrates open-source packages including flutter_riverpod, dio, freezed, go_router, hive_flutter, xterm, and others. These packages are used under their respective open-source licences.

The optional Helm binary integration on desktop platforms uses the Helm CLI, which is distributed under the Apache License 2.0. The Helm binary is not bundled with KubePilot — users must install it separately.

6. Availability and Changes

KubePilot is in active development. Features, supported platforms, Kubernetes API coverage, and integration capabilities may evolve over time.
