1. Overview
StreamScape is a personal media player application backed by the StreamKey account service. The app does not provide, host, or distribute any content itself. It connects only to the account services and media/provider services you explicitly configure.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

2.2 Data Transmitted to Your Server
The app communicates with the StreamKey account service and with the provider services you explicitly configure. Depending on the features you use, transmitted data can include:
- StreamKey sign-in requests, device pairing codes, and authenticated device-management calls
- Optional sync data such as favorites, watch history, continue-watching position, subtitle preferences, and app settings
- Provider credentials plus catalog, EPG, artwork, and stream requests sent to user-configured Xtream or M3U services
- Download, playback, and library-refresh requests needed to render the media sources you configure
- Optional subtitle search and subtitle download requests when you enable subtitle-provider features
2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not run analytics or telemetry pipelines for advertising or behavioral tracking.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or trackers.
- We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising purposes.
- We do not access contacts or precise location data.
- We do not provide or host media content ourselves; content access depends entirely on the services you configure.
3. Third-Party Services
Subscriptions, billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by the app store where you purchase access, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.
User-configured IPTV/content providers and subtitle providers receive requests only when you connect them or use related features.
StreamScape does not embed advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking services.
4. Biometric Data
StreamScape does not collect or process biometric templates. Household protection uses app-defined PIN controls, and any device biometric features remain managed by the operating system rather than by StreamScape.
5. Data Security
- Account access and sync features use authenticated requests to the StreamKey service.
- Sensitive local values are stored using platform-appropriate secure storage where applicable, while cached library data stays on-device for performance and resume features.
- You can remove local data by signing out, disconnecting providers, clearing downloads or caches, or uninstalling the app.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Account data and optional sync data remain associated with your StreamKey account until you delete the account or remove synced content.
- Provider metadata, caches, and local playback history may remain on-device until you sign out, disconnect a provider, clear local data, or uninstall the app.
- Deleting a StreamKey account removes the account data controlled by the StreamKey service. Content from third-party providers remains governed by those providers' own policies.
7. Children's Privacy
StreamScape is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your Rights
You can manage much of your data directly from the app or the connected StreamKey account tools.
- Review or delete your StreamKey account through the app or connected account tools when that option is available.
- Disable sync, sign out, disconnect providers, and remove downloads or caches from within the app.
- Manage or delete content and credentials held by third-party providers according to those providers' own controls and policies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a new effective date.
